Urban Rhino Inc. ("Urban Rhino," "we," "us") is a commercial video and animation production company based in Essex Junction, VT. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact information name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number, provided by you when you contact us, hire us, or are hired to work on one of our productions.
• Production and employment information for crew, cast, and vendors: role, rates, availability, scheduling, payroll and tax information, and documents required to engage you on a production.
• Website information standard server logs and analytics data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) collected when you visit urbanrhino.com.

How we use it

• To operate our productions: scheduling, call sheets, call times, location and logistics communications.
• To engage, onboard, and pay crew, cast, and vendors.
• To respond to inquiries and provide services to clients.
• To meet legal, tax, insurance, and record-keeping obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent, Urban Rhino may send you production scheduling text messages call times, call sheet links, location details, schedule changes, and day-of logistics. Message frequency varies by production. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our messaging service provider, is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have requested. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Full terms are in our SMS Terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who perform functions on our behalf payroll, production management, messaging, and accounting platforms and only as needed to perform those functions.
• With clients and production partners, where necessary to staff and deliver a production.
• Where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

Mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging are excluded from all sharing other than with our messaging service provider, as stated above.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by tax, employment, and insurance law. Mobile numbers are removed from our messaging lists upon opt-out.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@urbanrhino.com We may need to retain some information to meet legal obligations.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Minors engaged on productions are handled through their parent or legal guardian.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
